About The Doctor
Lisa Youngblood, MD, graduated from Ohio State University College of Medicine and completed her residency in Family Medicine at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Dr. Youngblood is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. She has practiced medicine for over 20 years in a hospital-owned model and has been frequently named as one of Indianapolis Monthly’s Top Doctors. Dr. Lisa Youngblood started AilmMD out of her sincere desire to practice family medicine in a way that works best for both the patients and the doctor. Too often in today’s world, a visit to the doctor becomes an ordeal hampered by scheduling algorithms, insurance regulations, and the hospital bureaucracy. She wants to make it easier for her patients, helping them to navigate through their unique medical needs and to achieve wellness through a trusted relationship with their doctor.
AilmMD is her vision of caring for patients in a positive and interactive way – appointments are on time and flexible, patients talk with their physician, and together a better health outcome is achieved.

Ailm, pronounced “ilm” and rhymes with “film,” is a Celtic symbol featuring a cross within a circle, and represents strength, healing, and integrity. Dr. Youngblood’s family has Irish ancestry, and the Celtic culture is close to her heart. After the challenges of 2020, the hope of resilience, guidance, and good health is what Ailm is all about. Dr. Youngblood wants to provide premier primary care, now directly to her patients. By streamlining the delivery of care and inspired by the symbolism of Ailm, we will help every patient to be the healthiest they can be.
